Was it back in 08 where we had the snow? I remember going to bed with the weather saying sleet was possible. I figured I'd go in to the office a little late so it was daylight before I left. Alarm went off, look outside, snow. Ended up with I think 8" in Hammond.
Seems these things are tough to predict here.

Yup - I remember driving into the office and it being like my car was on roller skates.

I'll never forget that. Just happened to be the same Christmas I surprised my wife with a new car. It was pretty awesome cause it had a big red bow on it and covered with snow. If memory serves me correct, it didn't even snow much north of us because the moisture was just in extreme South Louisiana.

That's a very good possibility this time as well. Models are hinting by the time the temps drop enough the moisture will be south.
