Heard some popping sounds and was able to video my neighbors tree limb snap and fall on the corner of his truck. Snow!

That 5 inch measurement looked like it was on grass which you can't do because you are sticking the ruler down into the grass. Need to measure from a solid surface. I measured and we are at almost 2" here, if we get another good band or two then 3" is definitely possible.

Which radars are you looking at? The radars at wwltv simply show a uniform light blue in the snow areas but not intensity. It's off and on despite that uniform blue.

That depends on how many are actually functional. I'd say -1"/hour

I've got a free radar app, as it is the only one operable. Looks like a rain radar, so I'm able to guess at intensity. Baton Rouge is in line for another good band soon and maybe another following that one.

Heavier band coming into BR now. Enjoy it, could be the last one! Hopefully we have another strong shot before this ends, though.

Will those make it toward mandeville? It's stopped snowing and only light sleet is falling.

Have had just a hair over an inch accumulate on flat surfaces.

Didn’t WBRZ go all in yesterday afternoon with the “No Snow” stuff? I even think I saw a link on their website for a story that said Neaux Sneaux like there was no way it was going to happen. Dumbasses.
WBRZ just took all the credit for being ahead of the game with their forecast.
