It's sleeting in East Feliciana parish right now. Driving in it. 43 degrees too.

makes sense given the stronger returns on radar and the temps, going to be interesting to see how the rest of the day unfolds.

It's uh...more complicated than that. Well above my paygrade more complicated. The math wikipedia is showing me reads like the reflection is mainly a function of drop diameter. So hail shows up really strong no so much because it's frozen, but because the "droplet" is huge. Which makes sense, but wikipedia is talking about truncated gamma functions, statistical distributions of drop size, and the dielectric constant. So uh...yeah, I'm like a third grader explaining gravity with that explanation.

Chances that LSU cancels classes at any point?

I have a final tomorrow, and I don't want my schedule to get fricked up

Yeah, that's what I was thinking

I really wish they would cancel the rest of today, because I have a final at 12:30 that I'm not feeling good about, but of course the one I have tomorrow is for my easiest class.

During finals week, it's going to take some biblical ice to get a cancellation.

It did't happen in 2008 when it snowed, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

If the sun is hot, why is space so cold? Hmmm
