It's easy to say "learn to drive on ice" But it's possible to live here, be 30+ years old and had never had to drive on ice. It isn't common down here, we don't swap our tires in the winter.

do you know any store around here that sells a lot of equipment to deal w/ winter weather? not a lot

The roads are awful now in BR. I was sliding my arse off coming back from the game.

Yeah my gf and I were driving back from the game and got stuck trying to go up a curb into Nicholson. Had 5 guys including me pushing the car slipping all over just to get it over the hump. We weren't the only ones either. Our whole ride home consisted of seeing people stranded in the ice. It's bad out tonight guys
