I believe the snow we saw in NOLA in 2007 (?) would qualify as dry snow

I'm near the post office but you can see how slow it is flying through the air and moving with the wind. It is light

My friend's flight that is coming in tomorrow morning to MSY has been cancelled. I figured it would be, but they just updated it via jet blue.

Troopers and DOTD officials are making preparations to close Interstate 12 between LA 1077 in St. Tammany Parish to Baton Rouge with traffic diverted to U.S. 190. DOTD will focus its resources on keeping Interstate 12 from Covington to Slidell open for traffic.

That's about what I was thinking unless we can get some sun tomorrow. I live a mile north of 22 and just drove down and checked it out. You can drive on it but your taking a huge fricking risk. there is a lot of ice and black ice.
