Atlanta, Georgia right now. Reports of multiple cars abandoned on the road due to running out of gas.

At least Trey Ansastasio won't call them pussies.

Yup the worst of it has arrived and will be in the BR area for another two hours......

I can confirm this

Looks like a piece of energy is sliding through and this will probably be the best combo of moisture and dynamics for BTR today. Probably last 2 - 3 hours before dry air cuts things off.

I hit that crap right around Cleveland one time driving home. Snow started in Chattanooga. By the time I hit Knoxville it was deep and nobody had a clue where the lanes were. Finally got past Knoxville only to have them shut down the mountain on me. Luckily found a hotel room, but I was soooo close to home. Next morning there was no snow on jellico mountain

Some sleet and ice on my patio furniture and the neighbors roof. Actually all the neighborhood has it on their roofs.

Still. Waiting. On. Snow. :/

A few minutes ago, it was coming down pretty good, but no snow. But it seemed like it was getting close.

I watched a squirrel grab a satsuma off my neighbors tree, peel it on the ground completely, then take it up to its' nest.
