Looks like the shite is about to just get dragged right across the I10-I12 corridor from west of Houston.

Are you talking about Central America? If not, you're wrong.

Exxon is shutdown for all "non-essential personnel" today. Our job is shutdown for at least 2 days.

Someone earlier said this was a massive overreaction, and while I think people do certainly overreact, I think this has more to do with uncertainty with weather than anything. Checking the weather yesterday morning, there wasn't a chance for snow in Jackson. Now we have 2-3 inches here with even more in southern cities like Brookhaven, when the whole time all the snow was projected to be in Hammond/I-10 corridor.

Wait a minute i12 is closed at range!???!? It's not Even sleeting

I drove in to the office for a little while. I came through at 830. The left lane of I12 is closed in both directions from Range to Oneal. They were running trucks spraying Antifreeze on both sides.

Hammered a biscuit from story's already.

Wouldn't be a winter storm without it.

"Are you talking about Central America? If not, you're wrong."

Nope. I'm right by the high school off of wax road! I got sleet for about 5 minutes. Barely knew it was even happening. Currently just cold and windy.
