I paid $4,500 back in 2018 for 8 windows with window world. They were awesome, Installation literally took an hour from start to finish and the crew vacuumed my yard to make sure they got all the glass shards. They were out of Lafayette.

This is nuts! I'm in the process of changing my French doors on my patio and they are no where near this.

On top of all that you’ve heard so far their product sucks. It’s entry level quality with energy ratings that are average or below average. Don’t fall for their hype.

Changing out an exterior is stupidly easy. Not sure why anyone would pay thousands for someone to do it. French doors are a two-man job vs a single door but even then hire some day labor or something.

Damn. I got all the windows on my house replaced for that price about 5 years ago.
And most were double windows.

Damn. After Katrina, they were the best price around and did a great job on my mom's house.

I know someone who just started building his own door jambs because of the supply issues.

It is until the door doesn't fit the rough opening. It can become a pain at that stage.

It is a supply issue, I've been told that some glass prices have tripled in the past 2 years.

Disagree with Biden though, he sure as hell hasn't helped anything. He hasn't done shite to work on the ship situation in the California ports.

Yea man we change them all of the time. Even then you either frame in, shim it, or get a little sawzall action going and adjust as needed. It's all pretty simple carpenter work to change a door.

The installer for Superior in LC has a 6 month backlog right now. Imagine waiting 6 months to have your windows installed.

Imagine being a builder, and when you sign a contract, you can't get windows to do the job for 4 to 5 months. Normal lead times were 4 weeks

we have a mess on our hands

Marketing executive from Plygym told me they spent millions retooling their window manufacturing plant because they realized human labor is a long lasting problem...

people don't want to work
They want too much money for work anyone can do
Cost going up and up

meanwhile everything is bottle necked

His Democrat friends wanted the world shut down for Covid "safety"...Trump said over and over, the solution can't be bigger than the "problem"...

Biden is on record saying "now people can get that wage they deserved"

He may not be directly responsible for supply chain issues, but he sure as hell isn't doing anything a real leader would do with these circumstances

TRump would have CEO after CEO in his office trying to help solve their supply chain problems. He would using the Green new deal BS slush fund to help companies rock and roll for Americans

Bidens says "Keep ports open 24/7"

Literally a freaking clown running America

and frick you people who voted for him over Trump....

we told you mean tweets are just the hard truth of the circumstances

you thought they were lies and conspiracies...

now we're all screwed with an open border

Keep on watching CNN and let us know their daily spin.

This is 100% on Biden.
If he were pro commerce, demanded ports be open, rather than sit back and push some asinine vaccine mandate, supply chains work.
As they always have.

I just had an entire backyard fence with 2 gates built and a wooden deck torn down for 6k

That price is obscene unless you’re buying really fancy doors
