rushed vaccine
it's still going through phase 1, 2 and 3 testing. I don't think any of the vaccines are skipping any of the safety tests required by any other vaccine/pharmaceutical. I could be wrong, but that was my understanding.

yes, I'm not a pussy, and I'm not going to use politics as a reason not to get the vaccine. I get the flu vaccine every year.

I've never taken a flu vaccine and I won't with the covid vaccine.

No.

Not because it was "rushed" (although they've been working on it longer than most people think), but because I prefer to let my immune system do what it is suppose to do. Never had a flu shot either.

Once I reach an age where I am more at risk of the flu or viruses being something more than an inconvenience, I'd probably consider it.

No, this middle aged woman on Facebook told me it causes autism and that Bill Gates will use it as a tracking device to spy on you.

Isn’t the vaccine about saving yourself than somebody else? I don’t think spreading it or anything is a concern.

True.
But, that proves
Efficacy and absence of short term side effects.

Unless they have a time machine long term effects are at best an educated guess.

No. The last time I took a new vaccine it went poorly for me. I'll take a wait and see approach.

Correct. Like most other vaccines and pharmaceuticals.

There is enough scientific evidence based on other vaccines to have a good understanding, but sure no one knows the long term side effects. I guess that is true of every vaccine depending on how long you are referring to as "long term" side effects.

No, nope, no way.

I worked in a Medical Research facility long enough to know that there’s no way in hell they’ve had enough time to thoroughly test the vaccine and replicate results. The FDA has some extremely strict guidelines they use to approve a vaccine and the entire process usually takes 1 1/2 - 2 years. Ain’t no damn way they can put out a reliable vaccine in under 6 months.

I'm not taking a shot to try to prevent me from a mild illness that you can only catch once. And most people probably already had it and didn't even know it
