Diabetes, joint problems, congestive heart failure, and various other health issues related to obesity beg to differ.

Jared Lorenzen is a prime example.

If you scroll down far enough, you see that this site is owned by Norvo Nordisk. The website doesn't explicitly state it anywhere that I can see, but they've got some kind of pharma solution they're trying to sell.

The frick it doesn't. I've made the commitment to get healthy and I've dropped 37 lbs in the last 5 months through diet and exercise. These people are just fricking lazy. And this is coming from someone who concedes that they themselves had gotten lazy and allowed them selves to get fat.

I would say diet is more important for weight loss than exercise.

Exercise is more important for health.

You have to run a long arse way to undo a couple of donuts.

I agree these people are lazy. I dont give a shite about any thyroid or other shite. If you take in fewer calories than you burn you will lose weight. Add in a little walking and you increase your weight loss.

diet is more important for weight loss which amounts for 90% of the health benifits.

Exactly. It all boils down to calories in vs calories out

while i agree with your sentiment...this is a dumb way to look at it and you should really be much more open about prescribing the glp-1 compound.

At least they're saying obesity is a bad thing. Lately, we've been hearing that fat is beautiful and a lifestyle or whatever.

Being a fat in South Louisiana during the summer should be plenty enough incentive to drop some tons.

That's what finally woke me up to the reality that I needed to lose weight, and I did.

And tirzepitide (Mounjaro) is even more effective. If there is a medicine to help people move from morbidly obese to just plain fat why not incorporate it?

Many will gain it back after discontinuing use but many will learn how to eat and change their lifestyle altogether.

You'll be back. I'll have some nice warm donuts waiting for you.

Just kidding, man. Congrats on losing the weight and getting healthier. I got really fit several years ago, then had a series of health issues, injuries that took me out of commission. A really severe injury I am just getting over. Trying to get back on the horse myself. I started the keto diet again and trying to keep it as healthy as possible. Getting old and having your metabolism slow down sucks.
