No, we don’t set prices
but the point is, when a larger and larger share is produced by a region not affected by conflict, then the market price will rise less than in the past.

It may go up a little for a brief period of time, but then settle back down. We produce a lot of oil here in the US now.

Well, that certainly isn’t a true statement. Oil still comes into the US from all over the world, even when we are a net exporter of oil. Amazing how little people know about something so important to our economy
