Hook is too shiny
Its a good city truck. Perfect for a lady who likes to garden but doesn’t want to dirty up the interior of her husband’s Prius (or her wife’s Suburu) hauling plants and mulch from Home Depot

The Ridgeline desperately needs a remodel, I just don’t get how someone will go with that when the Tacoma is at the same price point.

Because they just want a regular 6cyl engine and not a 4cly 2.4 L with a turbo

I just built one on Honda's website.
Base 40,150
Destination and handling fees 1,395
Total 41,545
No options, 280hp 3.5L V6.
Honda in BR. 23 available, a few with a dealer's discount $39.7K. The rest $40-44.7K.

Thanks.
Didn't realize they were that high now...
You'd have to really like it to pay that, especially for a non-AWD version.

Why do you need a diesel in the carpool line?
Posted on 9/13/24 at 10:38 am to LSU Coyote
They're going to start coming with a rubber pecker sticking up out of the seat first, then the diesel version will follow

I am not a Ridgeline hater, as for some people, it is an ideal vehicle, but I cannot understand why anyone would want that vehicle in diesel.

Best front seats of dang near any vehicle I've ridden in, and definitely the best seats in its class.
Because it's a mini-van with the back chopped off.

Not only are Ridgelines one of the most aggressive looking fully capable trucks on the road, but the price is practical.
Aggressive looking in a "wrong end of Bourbon street at 3 AM" way?

I can't think of anyone that's still selling passenger car diesels in the US.
Honda isn't going to retool to sell a diesel that no one wants, and they certainly aren't going to sell a diesel on that platform.

I’ve driven Ford’s and my last was Toyota Tundra and now have a Ridgeline. It is awesome and can do everything a loud noisy Ford/Toyota can do
Except if you want to tow anything larger than a jet ski or load up the bed with anything more than some potting soil. You cannot put that thing to work for any extended period of time or with anything remotely heavy like you can a Ford and Toyota. There's a reason you don't see any companies driving around town with Ridgeline's as their company truck. It's a not a very capable truck. If you even consider it a truck. More like a modern El Camino.

These remind me of El Caminos

Yea that is 100% an El Camino. I think that every time I see one.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
The ridgeline has torque vectoring but that's about it. It ain't climbing our of a sand hole like with toyotas crawl control

One of the best things about the Ridglines are that they are made in Alabama by American loving non-union baws and bawettes.
I will never buy a American-hating-union-built (or Mexican built) POS Ford, GM or Ram.
