I
Under what legal theory? Is there a statute that requires officers to intervene in another’s actions if they believe them to be unjust?
Criminal law is pretty specific; it’s not “I don’t like it so it’s a crime”.
That may be material
Why?

t is a crime if you let this go on for NINE mins and do nothing.

Plus they have video of two of the other officers on Floyd’s back as well.

Now if this was a two to three minute thing and the other officers did nothing it might be a different story.
Why?

Yeah, but his family wouldn’t have over 13 million dollars.
I bet behind closed doors they dance for joy at that motherfricker getting killed. Probably want to hug the stupid cop for getting them their payday
Most people do hate dealing with drug addicted relatives day in and day out....

Jerry Sandusky will be on Sesame Street before he walks.

Really depends on the matter of timing. If all the looted store shelves have been restocked fully, I would say yes. Otherwise, It would be reasonable to expect a delay.

maybe. who knows. this is no longer about #justice for what's his name or #BLM.
if it was, we wouldn't see the violence, destruction, and anarchy we've seen after Chauvin and the other 3 cops were arrested. we wouldn't have seen a black cop executed over a TV. we wouldn't have seen a black cop ran over by an ATV. Or 50 National Guard members injured in DC. and we certainly wouldn't see minority owned businesses destroyed.
(and i'll continue calling George Floyd 'what's his name' because as we see, most of the agitators aren't likely to even know his name at this point.)

Stop with the common sense. No longer allowed.

quote:I doubt at least 2 of them did. For one, it was only his 4th day on the job and the other only his 3rd patrolling shift, or something like that.
also makes the case against the other officers even weaker, unless it’s shown that they also previously knew Floyd or knew about the supposed beef between Floyd and Chauvin.
Crazy this happened to them with such limited experience.

I think Minnesota passed a bill recently that allows for lesser charges to be considered if the first is shot down.
While you’re right, it seems like these laws are 5th Amendment violations.
