Can they ask him why he had corn rows? And why did he take of his shirt?

Not necessarily.

I would say the guy that chased down someone and rammed their vehicle is the initial instigator.

I think the disconnect in this thread is that some people are arguing about what they feel should be the right way to handle the situation as it is happening versus the people who are arguing the semantics of what makes the actions legal or not...

Hope that makes sense, it did in my head

well put right there.

Hernandez says he's 5'8" Admits arguing with Hayes' much taller passenger, Kevin O'Neal. Says he took shirt off expecting fistfight.

That wasn't a hit and run. Its pretty clear in that GIF there was no contact.

With all due respect there is nothing 'clear' in that GIF

If i watched it 50 times 25 times I said throw the flag, the other 25 times... no flag

I don't see how anyone can vehemently argue either way on that gif alone

I mean it does matter to a certain degree, especially if it was Hayes (because he wouldn't be able to argue certain things).

But its all about REASONABLNESS of response, reasonableness of fear of losing your life, and reasonable actions taken to prevent that.

Rammed? Nice word

Rammed shows intent

Apparently, the defense will show computer logs that prove the hummer hit its brakes

and the only thing I argued concretely over that some people love to change the narrative is that they claimed they thought it wasn't a hit.

If Hayes had a concealed gun and no permit for it, could that hurt him in the case?

Possible he had it in a waistband or pocket.

Somehow I knew this was coming.

That doesn't disprove intent as far as I'm concerned. Maybe he decided he was going a little too fast. Maybe he chickened out at the last second. Both perfectly reasonable.

Hernandez said the Smiths, he and his wife were only at Sake Cafe with Pierre Thomas, others for 20-30 minutes before drive downtown.

not likely will took 8 shots in 20 minutes.

Didn't someone also just testify that they drank at Ruth's Chris and Barcadia before they went to Sake?

Anyone who claims that GIF shows contact is simply trying to be argumentative.

I would certainly want to make the argument that stand your ground wouldn't apply to him because he was in the commission of a crime.

I don't know the case law on this at all. So it could have been tried before and shot down. I guess it depends on the definition of "commission of a crime".
