yeah I saw that... didn't feel like correcting those particular messages... was trying to put all the facts on the other site

but I did post the tweet about the 2 no votes here being from jurors who wanted "guilty as charged"

He shoulda got off sounds like he was just defending himself from a deranged ex-NFL player with road rage.

This is a victory for gun control advocates everywhere. Who says a man can't defend himself with fire when he's attacked? The NFL player starter shooting first is what I read in the Advocate.

any OT lawyers... how would either lawyer know WHY the jurors voted like they did?

in other words... how would the prosecution know and be able to tell the media the 2 jurors who voted no to manslaughter did so b/c they wanted to convict on 2nd degree murder?

TIA

then you completely misconstrued your facts

prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Will didn't have his gun and wasn't going for his gun at the moment he was shot

In Florida you can poll the jurors after a trial if they choose to tell you how they voted. But they don't have to tell you shite.

My thinking here is there are some jurors who are probably attention whoring since they know it's a high profile case. They want to sell those books about the trial

The Judge usually tells the Jury just before they are released that they have the option to speak to the attorneys but that they don't have to do so. Lawyers always want to talk to them to ask their thoughts for future trial strategy. Sometimes the jurors will talk but sometimes the trial was so upsetting or contentious that they just want to get out of there.

Sad case. If Hernandez hadn't been an idiot and Smith been drunk, no one would have been injured or died. Hayes didn't set out to kill anyone. So many lives affected by idiocy. Families, including kids, friends etc... Smith was no hero in this case, but he shouldn't be dead.

Just for fun can you link to where I said it was definitely murder two and only murder two?

I can link to you saying you think he'll walk several times.

Based on the little that we know, gassers situation seems more like the slam dunk to me.

Slam dunk in which direction?

ETA: I see you think it's a slam dunk for murder now. Interesting take considering where the shots were fired from.

Definitely agree with the notion that Gasser looks to be the more likely tpos compared to Hayes though.

I don't like how someone can be charged with one thing and not be found guilty on that charge but on a lesser one.

I'm ok with it being that they convicted him of the attempted manslaughter charge for also shooting Racquel. I don't think Hayes set out to kill either of them, but he did kill one and certainly could have killed both of his aim were more true.
