Apply all the pressure possible and her ego is to big to walk away. Re-election? I would be shocked. But it may come down to voter turnout..... or the dead man votes.

Will LaToya Finish Out 2020 as Mayor?
Short of a criminal indictment or a life or death health issue, she won't resign, IMO. It comes down to she needs the money too much to quit.

Jay Batt, Monteleone (hotelier), somebody Loup or Loupo, who is a real estate developer and a jeweler, who's name I didn't recognize.
Heard a few minutes of the Scoot show with Batt and Loup/Loupo as guests. They were very polite and said they weren't criticizing Latoya, but that they thought her "nothing in 2020" edict was premature. They said we ought to follow the doctors guidance.

Because of people like you noted, our state needs to go back to only landowners and taxpayers being allowed to vote. LOL

I reckon they’re named in the TP article

The four businessmen -- fine jeweler Franco Valobra, real estate manager Robert E. Smith Lupo, hotelier David Monteleone and clothier and former city council member Jay Batt – clearly disagree with Cantrell on the timing of when New Orleans ought to reopen.

Friends,
I am considering running for mayor during the next election. Do you think I would have a chance?
