Will El Salvador become a tourist hotspot in the next decade?

A mountainous country with 190 miles of coastline and a government that's serious about cracking down on crime. Seems like they can become the next Costa Rica albeit smaller and cheaper.

Why would you hope not? Would it be disappointing to you that their country is reshaped into a better place that people would like to visit?

They could, all their convicts are in the US now.

More than likely. It will be the new Costa Rica (which is getting more dangerous as opposed to El Salvador)

I met a girl from ES a couple of years ago. She was 35 at the time and is now pushing 45. You’d be hard pressed to find many 25 yearolds who look younger than her. Her entire family of sisters and mom are like this too so if the rest of the women there are like this, it will be discovered soon

No, too much crime. Between Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, that area of the world is already covered for tourism.

If it's anything like Mexico, 50% look like Salma Hayek and the other 50% look like Sinbad.

I have a family member that’s about to marry a girl whose family is way way high up in power in the government there. Going to the wedding there later next year. They’re going to assign security to us 24/7. Apparently it’s very dangerous right now. I’m not sure how they can fix that quickly to compete with Costa Rica.

I went there in 2017. Did you go surfing or sightseeing up in the mountains? Beer/liquor is super cheap down there. The dollar you bring will last.
