Boeing would’ve been out of business years ago if not for the US government.

Boeing sucks now because they're run by MD bean counters.

Great plane but Deltas finish on the NEO is not good. The FC seat is not comfortable for the 4-5 hours you’re in seat.

To be fair to Boeing.. the EU subsidizes Airbus as well.

McDonnell Douglas merger with Boeing is the reason Boeing started to lack in their reliability. They basically brought the whole MD board over and appointed them to Boeings. One of the most ignorant mergers in history.

Airbus doesn’t make the seats. There’s a handful of companies airlines pick out and purchase seats from.

Do some research before posting. A380 is a colossal failure. It only makes sense for 1 airline…Emirates & the 777x can’t come soon enough for them. Airbus chose poorly with a380 program while Boeing chose a different path with the 787. AB has also been a very corrupt company in the past.
Boeing needs an intense house cleaning though. They have been the innovators in the past but need some major change to right their ship., Boeing could’ve had a clean sheet middle of the market 797 aircraft to truly dominate the a320 family.

All true - the cherry on top was passing over Alan Mulally as CEO and instead appointing Stonecipher in that role - that dumb decision will be studied for decades in business management.

Boeing is a finance company now. Used to be an aerospace manufacturing company.

Boeing will not catch up to Airbus as long as Boeing has a board with no engineers or pilots and Airbus does.

This right here. I loved flying on the old L1011s. DC 10s not so much. Never trusted those Crash and Burn mothers.

It’s funny, that you posted a picture of an aircraft type that is no longer relevant.
