Do the kids protesting want to have a learning environment at their school or not?

Kid could have left without causing more of a scene and wouldn’t have gotten injured. Can’t let him stay in class and continue same behavior.

No. Imagine being in a situation where you are so fricking dumb, and you can't read or do a multiplication problem, and they won't let you leave, sleep, talk to your friends, smoke some dope, sing some vulgar rap songs out loud.

Culcha gonna...well you know.

Jefferson Parish might be as fricked as New Orleans.

There is a reason almost everyone middle class and above in the area sends their children to Catholic or private schools.

Jefferson Demographics changed fast after Katrina, and three Jefferson Parish Magnet Schools have seen the decline of just about all of the Jefferson Parish Public High Schools.

Kids 18 he could legally smoke.
Hell it was the teachers that smoked non stop back in my day. They all stunk of cancer sticks.

I really liked my experience at Henry Ford. I taught kids who could finally read. I spent twenty years in Ascension Parish at a school in Donaldsonville. A math teacher could not do an eighth grade math problem. If you failed a kid in Donaldsonville, the parish socially promoted them. They were passing out diplomas to kids who could not read above the fourth grade level. I left D'ville and was hired by Ford two days later. The teachers told me that Ford was the worst school in Jefferson Parish. I told them that they didn't have a clue what a bad school really is. My students at Ford were able to read and comprehend what they read. Being at Ford, I felt that I died and went to heaven. I really enjoyed my experience there. Ford was a junior high back then, now it is a middle school.
