Wikipedia changes the definition of the word Definition

After the backlash it received from changing the definition of the word Recession, Wikipedia has decided to change what the word Definition means.

This is why physical media is still and will always be so important. The internet has been great at bringing so much information to so many more people. But the internet can be manipulated much more easily than a book in my house.
That said, it looks like it has already been updated…at least Wikipedia didn’t lock the entry like they did after the term “recession” was redefined to exclude language referring to two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth.

Wiki can be easily changed, but as of now, this is what it says for definition, and the word "fluid" is not there:

Yeah, I saw that and updated my post about that too. It’s good that Wikipedia didn’t lock the page like they did with the “recession” page so that cooler heads could prevail.
This is an interesting test of Wikipedia though; open sourcing works so well, but when concrete definitions (i.e. objective truth) are coming into question by certain political ideologues who have the power to manipulate pages people use as references, we really need to teach the next generation to be skeptical and think through what they’re reading, get multiple sources, etc.

It was probably edited and then someone changed it back. Anyone can edit Wikipedia pages until Wikipedia places a lock.

Yes, and that kind of feeds into the point the OP is trying to make. No one has a Webster dictionary sitting on their book shelf anymore. Hell most people don’t even have bookshelves with books anymore. If you control language you can control society. They change the meaning of words constantly to make things fit there narrative with the bigger irony of all redefining the meaning of definition. Wiki being one of the tools they use.
