Wife’s friend visited Wednesday then got fever Thurs, was positive today - what’s my fate?

We’re all ok for the most part but I’ve had a scratchy throat and headache off and on since yesterday. It’ll come and go - one minute I feel like I’m getting sick then an hour later I’m fine and an hour later it’s back. I can still smell the fishiness from all the LLOTOT through my screen so I’m good there. I refuse to go to the doctor as long as I’m feeling fine. For those who have had the vid, did your symptoms hit suddenly or gradually?

I spent 4-5 hours around a person who tested positive the afternoon of the same day. No masks at all. I never got it. C,D3, Zinc.

Worst part of Covid that is never talked about is all the people that have to broadcast to the world that their brother’s former roommate has fever and afraid they might have Covid since they shook hands with a mutual friend...even though they feel fine.

It was gradual for us. Took a couple days to get severe enough to suspect COVID. It started with feeling super achy for me, and achiness/scratchy throat for my husband. Our baby just had mild fever for a day and fussiness. I didn’t lose my sense of smell until I was 5-7 days in. It came back after a week or so.
