I call bullshite. She may have died from some complications associated with pregnancy but getting her tubes tied was not the cause of death.

Very possible actually, many physicans will only for tubals during a C-section because the complications.

I had my nuts cut, it's not bad other than the shot to kill the pain.

Why in the hell would you want to have a vasectomy if there is a chance you may want more kids. I would say a reversal is not 100%(opinion not looking it up) bitches be crazy cause if a reversal does not work then she will be pissed cause she wants another kid and it will all be your fault. Just pull out and spray that shite in her mouth.

I had a no scalpel procedure so no sutures and had zero swelling. Had it on Friday, back to work on Monday, back in gym on Wednesday.

Look into an IUD. She can get it while in the hospital after the birth. That's what we did after our second. They're good for ten years. When that's up you can decide the next step.

Worst advice in this thread. Say hello to pelvic inflammation disease. Never use an IUD.

Getting a vasectomy is a lot less invasive than her getting her tubes tied. When our daughter was coming due and they scheduled my wife's c-section to deliver her she asked her doctor if he'd tie her tubes while she was already there on the operating table. He told her that even in that situation it would be better if I got a vasectomy instead.

Man up and get clipped. Be sure to negotiate some nice benefits from the wife for being so understanding

IUDs are not the same as they were in the 70s, with the Dalkon Shield design. They're safe & widely used.

Do yourself a favor and wait until the child is born. You won't be having sex anyway.

Tell that to my wife and the docs who work in the ER and have to treat all the women with PID.

Well for some people it's a six inch needle. For some of us they have to use a longer one.

Op: I don't think reversals are a sure thing. Look up the statistics on successful reversals. Also, save the frozen peas and serve them to your in laws the next time they are over for a meal.

Yeah, that's complete bullshite. I had mine done a few months after my daughter was born so that would be about 8 years ago this fall. In fact I remember it was the Friday before the 2008 Auburn vs LSU game.

They give two deadening shots, on on each side of the ball sack. Stings a little but that's about it. After that all you feel is a slight tugging sensation that feel similar to being hit in the nuts, just not as intense. Afterwards there will be some soreness. But that's what the frozen peas are for.

Most reputable urologists won't do the surgery until the child is born and healthy. Reversals are not guaranteed and not a high rate of success. And expensive.

This, plus mine gave me a pain killer like 15 minutes prior.

Yeah the shots were the worst, but the one for my left nut didn't take. Had to tell him to stop and give me another shot

You don't know what you're talking about. I got laid more during pregnancy than at any other time in our marriage

Yeah, they gave me a prescription for one Valium. I remember stopping by CVS the afternoon before to get it filled. It was a pill bottle with one pill in it about half the size of my pinky finger. Like like a damn horse pill. My instructions were to take it right before I left the house on the morning of my procedure.

One funny (and quite ironic) part of my vasectomy was the fact my doc was a lady and when she came in to do my procedure she was wearing LSU scrubs. And like I said, this was the day before the 2008 AU vs LSU game. I was sitting there on the table, naked from the waste down wearing nothing but my Auburn tee-shirt. I took this as a foreshadowing of what was to come the next day. Sadly, I was right.
