This isn’t the first time families had to live together to make ends meet.

I didn’t watch the whole 5 minutes because I cannot stand Kamala.

I had the same takeaway. The headline shouldn't be this couple's question or situation, in fact they sound somewhat reasonable. Kamala's answer should be the headline. She starts with targetting price gouging corporations, which has nothing to do with the question, and even that scripted answer was awkward and cringey. I also had to turn it off after about a minute, I can't stand listening to her talk.

It's who democrats are. It's always someone else's fault. Prepare for 4 years of gifts to lovers you have to pay for.

I agree. It’s painful to watch and listen to someone awkwardly bullshite their way through an answer.

I mean she is a politician. Name one who doesn't do this.

There's seriously something that's changed the genetic makeup of "men" these days. Feminine looking, open mouth smiling, soy boy.

Even Louisiana baws are soft arse, AC soaking up poons that leave games early cause it’s too hot

Even though I agree with you that it's a problem, people have been living beyond their means for generations now.

At some point you have to realize that the system is working as intended. People aren't meant to live this way. This is just how they've been trained to behave.

How was their mortgage more than they thought?? Do they not still give estimates and disclosures and what not? They had to qualify and sign for shite.

How do you not have a very good general idea???

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they found their taxes and insurance to be much higher than they anticipated.

When I purchased my first house, I knew exactly what my mortgage was going to be a month, including escrow. If these people actually purchased a house and didn’t know that, they’re idiots….

Now, after Ida, our escrow increased on our current mortgage because hazard insurance tripled in price…. if that happened to them, then I’d understand.

So Kamala's plan is to 'give' first time home buyers $25K

The best part about this exchange is these people wont be first time home buyers.
