Overland Park is the perfect place if you are raising kids and like suburbia. My brother loves it.

Lawrence is actually a pretty nice place to live.

Yeah, west of Topeka there is no reason to live there. The same goes for large areas of most states.

Only good thing is speed limit is 75 and I haven't seen one cop. Been doing 85-90 the whole time.

So Oklahoma and Nebraska are actually worse than Kansas?

Colorado has many, many depressing parts. The western slope is underrated as far as ugly shitholes go, too. Grand Junction/Montrose area in particular is like the Morgan City of the west.

You may be an hour or so from Telluride but goddamn that's some run down country.

Don't even get me started on Wyoming

Never been but I have yet to hear a bad thing about Lawrence. Manhattan, not so much.

Topeka is supposedly a genuine shitehole that just gets worse and worse.

Just relax and take in the awesome scenery along the interstate. For those that haven't been to Kansas I'll save you the trip.

Wichita is the aeronautics capital of the country, so a lot of incredibly smart people already do.

And, if the situation was right, then I would...

I understand if your job brings you here. But for those who voluntarily live here. I don't get it. I'd probably kill myself in a week.

Honestly, Kansas can't be worse than Mississippi.

Have you ever caught a harvest moon in Kansas? Do that then you'll understand.

Well, you were either born there, in which case, it's your home state, so I obviously get why you'd stay there. If you moved there later in life, then you obviously moved there for some other reason that was good enough to get you there, so whatever the reason is...it must've been pretty good.
