That was not the reasoning they used for the original ‘don’t wear a mask’ guidance. It’s revisionist history to say so. Yes, they admit it now, but that was absolutely not why we were told not to at first.

Do you really want the answer to that?? Ok you will get it anyway. How many homemade masks were around in March? How many N95 masks we available in March? Have we learned nothing about the transmission of this Virus since March? Officials were contemplating what might happen at that point, therefore they tried to save the available masks for healthcare workers. Everyday we seem to have new symptoms that are associated with this virus. We are still learning! A few days ago 239 scientists banded together to have the mode of transmission changed for this virus. It is very likely more airborne than we initially thought.
Is it okay for scientists, virologists, and doctors to learn more about a virus over time?? JBE is at least acknowledging there is a virus running rampant in his state. He is taking measures to protect the people. If JBE is responsible for thousands of lost lives, how many do we chalk up for Donald “ it’s just the sniffles” Trump ???? He’s too busy worrying about and dead Confederates and Antifa. How many lives have been lost to Antifa so far this year? You obviously get your news from the OT or Facebook, so I am not surprised at your level of ignorance.

Not true.
Numerous American experts, even the CDC, fuly believed that masks would do little to limit transmission. Even WHO has stated as much on several occasions over the past few months.
They also had folks wiping down everything that came into their house to the point that cleaning supplies were wiped off of store shelves only to say, "Whoops....our bad, spreading from surface contact isn't a really big deal."

Which is entirely useless as a mask. I read an article a while back about how bad of an idea handkerchiefs and bandanas are. It had a video as well. You could see a sneeze come through the fabric.
