This is her time. She gave warning sometime back she was one with Colin Kaepernick. So we just have to grin and bear it. It doesn't really matter in my life what she does. I'll bet she never emigrates out of the USA. She is 33 and likely this is her last time in the spotlight. Just pay no attention.

Well they are plenty of people in this country that think much of the south (especially Alabama) are pretty much Saudi Arabia / 3rd world except with a Christian and white majority.

Looking back, I think she’s wildly successful with this.
She’s deflected attention on a crowning achievement in women’s sports toward herself, away from teammates.
She’s going to drive up sales in her clothing line.
Her failure is one that many like her have also done. What the hell is she fighting for? She disliked Trump prior to his election. She made no effort to agree with him. That’s fine.
But is this all some personal vendetta these athletes have? What gay rights does she not have? Is she fighting for black lives like Colin? What solutions does she have to these ‘issues’?

Will it always be? Instead of simply not saying anything and crossing that bridge, making a quiet press release that she declines the invitation she has to be the big shot virtue-signaler with edge and ferocity.
