Usually it’s a complete lack of self worth and crippling depression.
Their parents failed to instill in them pride in themselves so they constantly seek validation and pride from others.
It’s really sad when you think about it.
Our society is plagued by depressed and self loathing. We have every possible freedom and comfort at our finger tips in America and we reject all of it choosing instead to be a slave to a screen that gives us no comfort, nourishment, or health.
A bunch of depressed pathetic lonely men craving female attention they’re too scared to pursue sitting in a dark room jacking off desperately trying to feel happiness but just sinking worse into self loathing while looking at fake pictures of depressed and equally lonely and empty women begging for the attention they never received as children failing to get the meaningful validation they crave so desperately.
People desperate for human contact but failing to contact any humans.

So, later on when all that fast food catches up with them and they get fat and ugly they can always refer back to their pictures as proof that at one point in life they were the belle of the ball.

Because they have a lot of self confidence and self esteem and are very arrogant. They work hard to look as good as they do and they want to show it off. I don’t have a problem with it.

I’ve been thinking about this recently too. It was more along the lines of women try to profit off their looks. Men rarely try to profit off their looks.
Women will send videos and pics for money. They will have sex for money. You don’t see guys being hookers or strippers or instagram hoes. I guess it’s good for all the losers who can’t get laid. At least they are punching above their class even though they are paying for it.

Because they get off on people thinking they're attractive. It's like steroids for men, once they stop steroids their natural testosterone production plummets and if you've been taking them long enough it never returns forcing you to seek outside therapy for the rest of your life. Once women grow their life/personality around their physical attractiveness they have to keep fueling it. They build their life and their choices around what looks good and visually appealing. Once it stops they feel the void inside them, then they post another selfie to refill their motivation.
