It’s insecurity. They only see their flaws, the people who hurt them, the fathers that weren’t there for them, the boys who cheated on them, the friends who spoke behind their back, etc. They rely on likes and upvotes like a drug. They need the approval and attention to validate them so they can pretend they’re the person they want to be seen as rather than the one they see themselves as.
This isn’t just a chick thing either. A lot of guys are the same way. So are married couples. Most people are fronting on social media.

I know a lady that is very beautiful and athletic and she is still single at 36. Can’t figure out if she likes men or women. She works at a place that is mostly dominated by men. She posts selfies a lot but could easily have a long list of guys hitting on her.
Once, I tried to build a friendship with her. She seemed interested about me and my family. Then six months later she basically ignored me when our paths did cross again.
This lady should be off the market. I don’t get it
