Utilizing a stock 3.5-liter V6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, this minivan has bested vehicles like the 6.2-liter Chevy Camaro SS at Willow Springs, and is the official 2016 One Lap of America minivan for the automaker

Loved ours. Many road trips with family, a most memorable one with granddaughters to Chattanooga comes to mind. All the conveniences and features you noted were also the reasons we bought the van and why we loved it.
Until we were rear-ended and the all the seats, front and middle, stripped their gears and fell back flat with me and Mrs M in them throwing me halfway into the back seat tangled in the seatbelt.
Sadly for our once beloved Sienna, Mrs M said no more and demanded a return to the large substantial SUV of our earlier marriage.
I talked her back from a Suburban to a three row seat Tahoe however.
Miss the Sienna though, it was useful, comfortable, and fun.

Is that a foot rest? Damn. Sort of want.
Spend a lot time in the backseat do we?

The Sienna is one of the best vehicles on the road.

Would be perfect for TulaneLSU's tour business

I’ve loved every Toyota I’ve ever had. Camry was a great car. Loved the highlander. Sequioa is great,
Would definitely consider a sienna

Is that the mid engine model? Toyota had one that was mid engine. Seams weird for a minivan.

Actually looking at a sienna right now. Sequioa has over 250k and this one has under 100k
Don’t do a whole lot of rough terrain stuff, just some camping.
Talk to me more about it.

That was the Previa, the AMC Pacer of minivans.
Awful, awful, awful.

I’ve never owned one and was actually getting close to pulling the trigger on purchasing one, but in doing some last minute research just found out the AWD Sienna’s do not have a spare tire compartment. The FWD Siennas keep the spare tire under the middle of the car on the passenger side, but the AWD models can’t accommodate that so instead they just sell the AWD models with run flat tires.
If you want to keep a spare with your AWD Sienna, you have to either just toss it in the trunk, which takes away the ability of half of your third row seat to fold down, attach it to a roof basket, or attach it to the back of your van like so:
None of those options appeal to me and I’m not buying a car without a spare tire compartment.
The run flat tires apparently get eaten quick on the Sienna’s. Ton of stories online of people having to replace them every 15k miles or so, and they aren’t cheap.
If we didn’t want AWD I’d just get the FWD to avoid this run flat/no spare issue. But we really want AWD because we have snowy winters and travel throughout the year.
So now it looks like we will probably settle on the AWD Honda Pilot, which is a bummer. I can’t believe they could sell a mini-van, that is all about utility and safety, without a spare tire compartment.
The 2021 Siennas are getting a new look and there is some indication that even the AWD models will have spare tire compartment. If so, we may just keep the Pilot for a few years then trade it in for a 2021 AWD Sienna.

I’m not rich so buying a brand new car is not in the cards. I could afford to pay the note but I’d rather let another guy take that first big depreciation hit.

I thought the sienna spare tire was in the rear space, let’s call it the trunk, underneath the floor.

Mrs. Flowbe drives a 2014 (not AWD) and it eats tires. It’s at 95k miles and either on it’s 3rd or 4th set.

The 2021 Sienna will be a 4 cylinder hybrid only. That may turn off some buyers.
