re: Why the Toyota Sienna should be the vehicle of choice

We had a Sienna, it was a great van. When the time came for a new one, we looked at a Honda, and they offered us a crazy amount to trade the Sienna. We told the Toyota dealer the offer, and he just said, enjoy your Honda... lol. The Odyssey has a bunch of cool features, but...
Sienna has more power
Sienna has smarter 8th seat, you can store it in the van.
Sienna electric steering is nicer.
Sienna is quieter in the cabin

Minivans are incredible if you have a large family that you need to haul. I don't need one, but I've loved them as a passenger more than the SUVs.
Also, how in the hell does that canal boat get a 0-60 time of 7.7 seconds or so? That's like only a second and change off of my Mini Cooper S (6.4 seconds).

The old lady drives us around in a decked out Honda Odyssey while we watch movies and relax. Would not take an suv over the van from the interior perspective.

We had them at work, they were very good in the snow.
And it was more than the traction control, it was the wide wheel base, and the weight, and the balance.
I’d never buy one, minivan, but I can’t hate it. It’s a well designed vehicle.

Sienna is a really good vehicle, got 135 000 miles on one
Toyota is really anal about getting factory recalls done
Toyota actively upsells maintenance cost additions when brought in for repair
The 120$ replacement keys are a real pisser
Next vehicle will be a sienna

It may not be for everyone, but I bought the Toyota software and cable, and programmed my own keys and fobs. I have a Tundra, so it made sense with 2 vehicles. You can adjust other settings as well.

If you arent poor its worth paying more for less to not buy a minivan

We have an Infiniti QX56 and will probably get the sienna when it’s time for a new vehicle. Almost got one last time, but got a good deal on the QX. It’s been a great vehicle and glad we have it, but the sienna is so damn practical

My neighbors just bought one, I looked inside of it and thought sweet! Then I thought I’m old.

The Asians are still clogging up the left lane in their Sienna minivans here in the Houston burbs.

Lol - I need something that seats 8
The cool mini vans with the bells & whistles & foot rests don’t seat 8
We have a Chevy traverse

Just got a new odyssey a couple of weeks ago. The automatic doors are life changing.

We took many a road trips in our Sienna when the kids were young. You can haul a shite ton of luggage in that thing. And the spacing on the bucket seats keep the kids from killing each other. The second row is huge and plenty of room for an adult to spread and sleep. And it drives well too.

Our sienna rocks.
Wife wanted an Tahoe. The one she wanted had 100k miles and wanted 18k for it. frick that.
Found a sienna with leather and 23k miles for 21k out that door. Been paid off and just rolled 100k miles.
We fricking love it. Quick. Good on gas. Travel is so damn easy. We go so many more places because we bought it. Way cheaper to run and easier to load. You don't feel like you have to mortgage a kid just to pay gas to go to Florida.
Sienna driver area much more roomy than the Honda. I'm 6'4" 240. The reason we chose the Toyota.

Wife has one... it’s a traveling machine.... fold down Blu-ray wide screen for the kids. Drives smooth. Think hers is 2019 but will get another after this one
