Unless my wife is wearing a cocktail dress or better, she’s carrying her own phone. That just sets a bad precedent, otherwise
I also tell her not to pack a bag for a trip that she isn’t capable of carrying herself up a flight of stairs at a train station, but I tend to bend on that one more often than not

I honestly don't care. Doesn't affect my life one bit. Wear a pink tutu and a thong, if it makes you feel better.
