I don't wear fanny packs, but if given the ultimatum, I absolutely would choose a fanny pack over cargo shorts because they serve a more functional purpose
Now you're just talking nonsense

Oh, my reading comprehension is just fine. You're worrying about what other people wear.

1) fanny packs distribute the weight on your hips, which means you can carry more weight and its more comfortable

2) fanny packs come in lots of different sizes

3) fanny packs have different compartments

all of these things make fanny packs way more functional

both of y'all just defeated your entire argument about "functional over fashion" by making fun of fanny packs

Are you hauling around lead ingots? How can you possibly load down a fanny pack (or cargo pants/shorts) with so much weight that it's a burden?

Cargos come in different sizes.

3) fanny packs have different compartments
Cargos have different compartments that are easier to access one-handed.

They serve the same purpose of a fanny pack, without having to wear a retarded fanny pack. In general both are more functional than regular shorts. Cargo shorts win in functionality and fashion when we are talking about a fanny pack with regular shorts and it's one item with zero accessories.

As far as your comment about letting your legs breath, you do realize that they're still shorts right? It's like pants with the lower leg portion cut off making an open hole to breath. If you think the primary breathing occurs through the fabric, why don't you just cut off all of your pockets and wear a fanny pack.

I've already answered you on this. I'm shocked that it hasn't clicked with a fatty who loves his cargo shorts so much. Absolutely shocked.

Cargo shorts are probably more out of style than anything else in America right now. The picture below is the look that is in.

Trim, aesthetically pleasing, not bulky… the polar opposite of schlubby cargo shorts

Right, which is what makes them so sloppy looking.

I'm just glad you didn't use the Marcia gif again. I was beginning to get . . . worried.

So now shorts are just sloppy, period? You were on the first couple pages saying how you can wear shorts and still look dressed up.

What?! You clearly have not shopped for cargo pants/shorts.

Same as above.

Look, let's attack this another way. Do you think that the standard array of 4 pockets (or sometimes 5 if you count the tiny one) on a regular pair of pants are the perfect number, size, and placement for storage?

And you were just recently trying to throw shade about my reading comprehension. Maybe you, too, will one day learn about how ellipsis can function.

Only after your false assumption. You know what assuming does, right?
