here are a couple people that have tested positive in Baton Rouge and just haven’t made it public yet for reasons unknown.

This info came first hand from this local hospital’s charge nurse that my SO knows.

I’ve heard the same (yesterday) from someone associated with nursing facilities. Not sure why it hasn’t come out yet.

Now you don’t have to be so sad about the parade being cancelled.

Regarding those testing positive , and info from those at hospitals —

Do we have people in BR in ICU regarding this issue? In other words, are some or all of the positive tests in ICU? Or, are there folks in ICU with respiratory issues that tested negative for the flu and are waiting to be tested or results from the test?

Recent article in Advocate states we should have positive soon. I would think someone is sick and they know it's covid just waiting for test to come back.

The majority of parishes do not show anyone infected in them.

Because all the AIDS in Baton Rouge got jealous of all the attention Corona Virus was getting and started fighting the Corona off and chasing it away upon arrival.

Cases reported are verified by both private AND the state public health lab first.

Not that cases are radiated from New Orleans (commuters?) at present.

Nobody really lives there. They commute and live in Nola.

Can’t believe there still were no reported numbers from EBR, or really anywhere other than SELA with the updates last night and this morning. If NOLA is as bad as they are thinking, the rest of the states numbers will certainly skyrocket once more testing is done this week and the results are streamlined.
