Also keep in mind these companies have ZERO problem calling in a MILITARY SECURITY COMPANY to wage WAR against anyone who tries to come against them.
They have ZERO problems stealing land from impoverished areas to run pipelines that leak and ruin waterways and cause deadly illness and cancers.
If this isn’t the epitome of everything wrong I don’t know what is.

Actual coal production areas have always looked pretty much the same. Coal doesn't have near the positive economic benefits that O&G does. You pull coal out of the ground and by and large it just gets shipped to the end user. So much of the "value" of the O&G industry is in what goes on post extraction.

I was really referring to the poverty in a lot of those areas after coal went bust.
