Yes I would. Obviously being a LSU athlete is going to be covered in the media much more than the Bryant Lee shooting but I feel the same about both.

You are one of only a few. How many people have been shot and killed in this city this year? And how many have been solved in nearly 24 hours? Granted, the videos played a large part in it, but I know for a fact that nearly all of the agencies put all effort into this. Imagine what would happen if they were all hands on deck for every homicide.

Yes. No more inspection sticker checkpoints or speeding tickets.

When I first read this, I thought OP was referring to the murder of sims on the video game The Sims.

I was going to ask why does it need to be a big deal? That’s one of the entertaining parts

I killed Sims all the time in my youth. Give them pools without ladders, put fireworks indoors, delete doors behind them.

people don't care because it cannot further anyone's political agenda. Prob an illegal gun so gun control wouldn't work, black on black crime so they can't use the race card. It's fricked up aint it smh.

Ryan Francis murder was just as terrible and I don’t remember much outrage from the NBR folks on that sad saga either

The race pimps only come out when it suits them

You mean would we have heard about it... I'm sure we would all feel for his family regardless of his school. Most likely if he isn't an athlete though it's just another teen murdered here that would get limited attention

You would be better off toning down the absolutes here.

Some blacks only care if it's a black person killed by a white person. Some whites only care if it's a white person killed by a black person.

There are many more that feel it's horrible no matter who died.

Don't get it twisted. Human beings dying well before their expiration date is a tragedy. Any black person worth their salt is horrified when black on black crime happens. Asking them to just wave a wand and solve it because they, too, are black, is foolhardy.

When looking at racial crime demos, there's a big difference between trying to figure out the "why?" And just writing off those who are different than you as 'animals' (how some whites view blacks) or 'oppressive miscreants' (how some blacks view all whites)

It's a complicated issue in a complicated time in a complicated country. I think an attempt at a little more compassion and understanding would be better than just mockery and vilification of an entire race.

Well when are the black people gonna step up this part of their game? They may express outrage over black on black crime, but I’ve yet to see a black defend a white cop or the white race. All I hear from them is hate or nothing at all.
