This is quite a fail in logic on your part.
People go to private schools instead of public schools in most cases because the education is better.

Inner city neighborhoods are generally higher in crime and have less space than suburbs. People generally prefer to live where there is less crime and more space.
None of this is proof of racism.

Instead of sending kids to private schools, some municipalities up here have limited multi family dwellings, and jacked up property taxes, pricing out those who can't afford to live there. No need for white flight, especially when the resulting school districts are near the top of the nation.

You clearly failed economics if that is your take away. Here is some beginners logic... A home is considered an asset, and people desire assets that can either appreciate (most ideal) or at least maintain their value. The value of that 100,000 home in a nice part of town will likely maintain or gain in value over time, while that 10,000 home in the ghetto will likely lose value or maintain its original value at best. Homes in rough areas have lower resale values, as well as have a tougher time selling, and thus are not intelligent financial investments.
ETA: Even if you look at initial costs, that 90,000 in "savings" in choosing to live in the ghetto versus the nicer home will do me no good if I get killed in said ghetto.

Maybe the term "white fight" isn't totally accurate. It may have been a thing at one time and I'm not saying it doesn't happen today, but there are a lot of blacks with ability to do so who also choose to move to more affluent areas. People in general prefer to live in areas that refect their socio-economic status.

Oh there's racism all right, but you don't need white racism to get white flight. Black racism will do it too.
Or would you choose to live in a place where the people didn't want you?
I see a lot more black people living in predominantly white neighborhoods than the opposite. You want to explain that using white racism?

Loses value because said ghetto can endanger ones well being or even end their life. Why dont you ask the ghetto why they have to be so ghetto? I know quite a few guys who grew up in ghetto areas who have sworn to never return because they do not want their kids exposed to the shite there, and yes, they were black. And most home owners do not want to live by a trailer park the same way they dont want to live by a ghetto.

Why does it have to be just black areas? You don't see anyone trying to build a big house in the middle of the white trash trailer parks either. Trash is trash.

No, nobody wants to live in a sketchy area period. It does not matter about the color of its inhabitants. Any area that harbors crime and drugs, and has a high rate of shady dealings stemming from those two big issues will see anybody with any desire to better themselves leave or stay away.

it is the responsibility of the more fortunate to move into these areas and use their money to improve these areas and increase value for the ones not as fortunate that live in these areas.
