Was a really stupid spot for one anyways. No way that tight area could handle that increased traffic.

We live in the general area. The person who designed the Millerville traffic flow is a masochist

Sorry to break it to you, but Louisiana is shite. Nothing good comes there, and if it tries, it dies.

I don’t think think that exit at Bass Pro can handle a Bucees. Have you see the traffic at noon on a weekend at that light?

In Leeds, Alabama there is a Bucc-ee’s across from a Bass Pro. Was there this past Saturday to grab a sammich between youth baseball games and then fondle guns at BP.

For the life of me I cannot understand what gets middle aged white people so hyped up over a chain gas station.

Too much culture and the dindu nuffins would steal all the beaver nuggets and brisket tacos!

The Buccee’s founder is from Louisiana - Harrisonburg, the Parish seat of Catahoula Parish.

He probably was glad he left.

They had one planned in Baton Rouge on I-12 at Millerville, but the property flooded significantly during the 2016 flood, causing Buccees to reconsider the project and ultimately scrap it. Allegedly, there was some interference from then Governor Edwards as well as multiple local politicians who were soliciting bribes from Buccees in exchange for allowing the project to go through

Pretty sure Buccees was looking at I-12 well after the 2016 flood and that had zero barring on them pulling out. It was 100% typical scum bag Louisiana politicians.

Racetrack doesn’t sell nearly as good bbq sandwiches or beef jerky, nor are racetrack’s bathrooms typically as clean.

Walk into any convenience store, waffle house or Walmarks in this state and like the Majic 8 ball, you will have your answer.

It’s nauseating inside. Reminds me of the Mickey store in Mouse World.

Exactly. Patrons running around in there like ants on crack. If McDonalds sold those BBQ sandwiches, they’d get ridiculed. It’s a good stop for long boring drives, and I do like the beef jerky variety, but other than that….. nah

Yeah, for the lines being too long to get them and them always being sold out. Buccees BBQ sandwiches are awesome compared to fast food. Heck, they're better than most Louisiana BBQ restaurants, ngl.
