Why is there a humming noise in my sofa?

There's a leather sofa in my music room. Sometimes, I lie on the sofa to listen to music. Last night, I lay my head on the arm, and when the music shuts off, I hear a medium pitched hum that has a slight pulsing to it. I turn the music system off, the hum is still there. I just checked again, hum still there.

There is nothing in the room but the shut off stereo, my piano and drum kit. The room was built for acoustics and noise reduction, so no sound should be coming in the room from somewhere else.

I thought it might be like the sound you hear when you put a seashell to your ear, but it wouldn't be a pulsing hum. Any thoughts?

Dad was at my house last night and I tried to get him to listen, he said "I'm not listening to your couch or anyone else's."

Did your vibrator fall in the crease after you were finished?

Do whatever I do when I think there is a .01% I'll die.

Clear the search history.

Cut it open and get that device that was planted out immediately.

I wouldn't use one in the music room.

This, and based on your dad's reaction, he's obviously in on it. He is probably the one who planted it. You need to... deal... with him.

ETA: I'm not sure who you call, but I'm getting someone to check out the sofa.

I'd have it hauled off but I'd hate it if I replaced it and the noise was still there.

I think it is something heinous.

Careful, some of the loons on here will interpret that as 'ooh, yoga girl has a dungeon room ready to be made'

It's either your dildo or the govt has planted an acoustic bug in your house. If you talk about their chem trails too much, this is what happens.

What type of subfloor in do you have? Is this upstairs or downstairs. I'm assuming down stairs if you have a piano.

My friends say that I seem like someone who could have dominatrix tendencies (too long a story to explain why) so maybe I need a dungeon.

Check all of your plugs or your power strip. I've heard one of my phone chargers make a little noise when it was plugged in but not in use. It was a fast charger so it may have had some form of an amplifier in it. Then again, I know nothing about electronics, but still check that.

I might be outting myself as a crazy person but I have often woken up in the middle of the night and heard a static-y radio signal coming from my turned off/unplugged alarm clock, and this has happened all my life.

Maple wood flooring over a wooden subfloor. It is downstairs.
