It's a reliable firearm at a decent price. Nothing like Yeti

I don’t know about that either. The VP 9s are pretty great and more expensive.

The M&P and CZ seem to be a really similar options, but I think another argument could be made that because there are so many out there, parts are easy to come by, mags interchangeable, etc, and pretty inexpensive at that, and that’s another good argument for the guns Recently put a Ruger SR9C in my hand though, and my first impression was that it was significantly less box feeling and more ergonomic.

WTF is a team Glock? Do I belong to it because I own a Glock?

Depends.

Do you think all active/manual safeties are stupid because the only safety you need is between your ears? If yes, you're team glock.

Do you think that being able to work reliably after having a yard of dirt dumped on your gun is of paramount importance? If yes, you're team glock

I think Glock sucks. Ergonomics are bad, sight picture is clumsy. Very simple weapon though. Always concerns me how many LEO's shoot themselves and others through ND's with a Glock.

If you're a 1911 fan, Wilson Combat or Reeder Custom are great. If you like 'modern' semi auto, and especially if you like 9mm, have Wilson Combat do an upgrade of a Berretta.

Goes bang every time you pull the trigger, good price, and easy to maintain.

I don't know anyone who owns a glock. Glock became the yeti of hand guns.

Majority of guys who bought them, who were police, ended up going back to dealer to exchange it for a different gun.

Their market plan is 180 degrees opposite of yeti other than it's just good marketing. Where do yall come up with this?

Glocks are one of the cheapest quality handguns out there.

When glocks were first being offered to police officers, they cost more than the other hand guns, so all of the younger cops would buy them, then realize the terrible mistake they made and exchange them.

In the late 80's to early 90's, glocks were the yetis of handguns for police officers.

I rarely see a law enforcement officer carrying anything else besides a glock

I'd have to see pricing to believe that. Glocks mostly replaced smith and colt revovlers which were never by any means cheap.

Glock just did a fantastic job of selling his product, which is a good one. It's a better combat weapon than the wheelguns it was replacing so it's not like they were fooled or misled.

This is basically what I meant by the design comment, you expanded further with amount circulating.

Some folks prefer this boxy feel, I;m perfectly comfortable with it.

The blocky thing has no merit IMO. I have a P229 which is pretty universally accepted as a nice looking gun, and it's a squared off chunky bitch

It also helps that most police officers carry glocks. You see one almost everyday.
A cop or a Glock?

I haven’t seen a Glock in months.

And I own one (a Glock, not a cop).
