They sort of were for a while. They usually do a decent job of finding evidence to support their conclusions, but the problem in the last 4 years or more is that they pick and choose many more rumors that favor the left rather than the right.

I always used to use them to send a quick summary to my stupid arse old country relatives who sent the dumb email chain things to me.
Now I guess they have gotten into the politard game and aren't as reliable so I'm not sure anymore if they can be trusted all of the time.
