Why is prostitution illegal?

Seems like victimless crime. If it was legal and regulated, it would be more safe from health standpoint.

It increases sex trafficking everywhere its legal. There have been more than a few studies on this. I don't know why current prostitutes would want to be taxed anyways. They don't seem very concerned with its illegality on social media.
Why should we pay taxes for ANOTHER government program that we don't use? You can get prostitutes already, just try snapchat Instagram etc.
DeShaun Watson literally got tons of "masseusses" from Instagram no problem.

That’s right. Lots of lonely people out there not having sex. Or physically handicapped. It’s like a medical treatment almost. Set up clinics, schedule sessions, far fewer serial killers. Hell, make it where it’s covered by insurance.

Not wanting to go off on a tangent but we are moving toward a secular society. So if a society decides they dislike religion and the morality it brings then why not legalize prostitution or any number of other formerly illegal things. So I'm guessing in time as surely as states legalize marijuana then they should legalize prostitution and other stuff.

Nowadays, based on our modern values, a lot of it doesn't make sense.
No, can't pay the hooker for sex (even though that's what she chooses for her body), but yep you can kill a fetus (because that's what the woman chooses for her body).

DNA testing makes it impossible and a good deal of serial killers in the past preyed on prostitutes. Some of you are just begging for the government to own you like a dog.

Download tinder and see for yourself. Find an Instagram account and then DM telling them what you are looking for. Of course Ive never used it,but anyone who knows social media knows what I'm talking about.. It's not hard and very common. The government would ruin everything because they suck at well....almost everything and people who will never use this will be paying for it. We already have prostitutes everywhere.
