One of those rare occurrences where I side with the wife.
Attending a reunion with your spouse is just sort of an understood obligation I would’ve imagined. Especially if there aren’t extenuating circumstances that are keeping you from going, and no, golfing with your buddies isn’t one of them. None of the spouses will be excited to be there, but you just suck it up and go.
Now, I have no idea why anyone would want to attend their high school reunion, but that’s a different discussion. However, your wife wants to go, and you need to stop acting like a selfish bitch, and go too.
I hope she goes solo, and fricks an old class mate behind your back.

Dude...I'm the King of saying "yeah no I'm not gonna do that, have fun," as I set that rule down early in every relationship I've ever had, and I frankly don't care about getting guilt tripped.
With that said, you are in the wrong here. Of course you won't know anyone, but this is a big type of deal for her. "Suck it up and go"
