Same ones when Christmas falls on a Sunday yet holiday finds its way to citizenry in that case. Not Easter.

The movie industry still recognizes it as a union holiday.

Not sure but I get a holiday from work at my job for Good Friday but not Presidents Day or MLK. So I'm good.

.....and crucifixion was largely a Roman thing....but we give them a pass largely in their enthusiastic participation. They did the nailing, the whipping and the whole crown of thorns thing......Yet we blame the Jews.

This may sound very European, but every month should have a minimum one 3 day weekend.

Labor day is a socialist holiday. What's the excuse for Juneteenth? Most places in the south seem to have dropped Veterans day because of being forced to recognize MLK day, what about Veterans?

"Other parts" does not include nearly any of Asia. "Other parts," like Italy, declare public holidays for weird shite that happens when a door opens at some Catholic thing in Rome. Pick a better gripe. Or better yet, work for a state government where you get off holidays you've never heard of, like LBJ day, San Jacinto day, etc.
