I’ve never understood laws around not selling booze after midnight and not starting until noon in some states. Makes no sense.

I'm pissed, just went to Kroger for some groceries and grabbed a sixer for later this afternoon.

went on vacation with the family and friends a few years back. we were waiting to get on this pirate ship cruise thing in gulf shores. I left and came back with a cooler full of beer and opened one up. One of my wife's friends looked at me and said "it's 9 o'clock in the morning!".
I said "i know, i'm getting a late start". she barely spoke to me the rest of the week. made the vacation even better.

I worked nights at Lauberge for a few years. A couple mornings a week we would go to Hollywood Casino at 6 am to drink since it was the only place open. Those were some fun times.
