But when you have hormone fluctuations (like those of a typical menstrual cycle)....it can and does affect emotions/mood.

Most women have menstrual cycles. Your situation is different than most women so you would not be affected the same way.

Obviously not ALL women get triggered by calling them crazy

I imagine the only people you're calling crazy actually are crazy... so I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Are you asking why people who are crazy enough to get called crazy in the first place freak out? Well, because they're fricking crazy.

I've been called plenty, but I've never been called crazy in my life. Presumably, it is because I'm not. But who really knows..

I just call them stupid. It usually does the trick.

Like "wow, you're really stupid."

I can't even get my fiancee to freak out about stuff like that anymore. I called her a sociopath, and she laughed and said probably

Start accusing her of lying about everything. Then tell her only crazy people freak out about being called a liar.

We're gonna crack this nut.

Its not..... Tell them to relax.... see how that works

This. "Relax" or "calm down" are the ultimate triggers for some reason.

My wife will say "that never calms me down!" and I'm like we'll what the frick else am I supposed to say to clue you in that you need to calm down?

Bottom line: wimmenz iz cray

i'll go semi-feminist here for a second and just say that society does pressure women to be insecure about a lot of things

this often leads to outbursts that are not optimal, which they then feel even more insecure about. wash, rinse, repeat.

also, many do not want to be crazy and in light of, you know, acting crazy, hate having this insecurity pointed out

sure there are some women who are irrationally confident, but there are a ton of guys who are also insecure. if women kept ripping on those areas of insecurity the men would have an emotional reaction to that

skip the key words and just go straight for actual relaxation techniques

i am king of saying "slow down. take a deep breath"

Nah, the key is silence. Just don't respond at all. She'll crack in like 2-3 minutes.

It takes discipline though, because she'll figure it out and start trying to go nuclear. Talking shite about my family, you lack ambition at work, anything she thinks might break the shell. But then she caves when unsuccessful.
