I don't agree with the way Drew handled his PR issues but understand why he had to do what he did. It's the backwards world we live in today.

What is going to be exciting is seeing all these anti drew people come playoff time

If you don't care what people who disagree with you think, why are you arguing about social issues on a message board?

His quote ought to be 'Don't swim out to where you can't swim back."

You see where I said I don't agree with what he said. I'm not going to educate you on PR with the business that is NFL in 2020.

You're just wasting your time with this uncapitalized, ill-thought-out crap. Maybe your time's not worth all that much, though.

I think the real issue is someone needs to explain to Drew the difference between "Deep Sea Fishing" and fishing 100 yards from the marina.

Ah so its about some unknown perceived image of the NFL that Drew cares about more than his own convictions.

Sounds about right for a piece of trash.

Him and LeBron should be best friends.

That’s about as stupid a quote as I’ve ever heard. Once you’re dead you lost everything including your freedom, dumbass. You’re not free! YOU’RE DEAD!

You’re who William Wallace was speaking about when he said this:

Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

*Except in your case, Drew. You allowed them to take away your own freedom of speech and expression.

It wasn't just that Brees apologized for his statement re his beliefs. He & his wife came back bit later & announced that they were creating a foundation specifically dedicated to several BLM - related groups. He doubled down.
