I don't even think kneeling is a gesture of disrespect. Just sitting there like shiftless bums is (which some Saints players did). And Kaepernick sucks, but that's just one guy.
The problem is that Drew did think it was disrespectful but then he failed to stand up for that entirely reasonable belief. No one respects that.

Maybe he should have read about BLM and their goal. The destruction of the US government, replaced by marxism. I'm all for going after CORRUPTION, which has bastardized the free market and sold out to China. But to support a marxist movement is UN AMERICAN and TREASONIST. He's on the wrong side and the only thing he can do is LOUDLY renounce any support for BLM and tell the truth. Other than that, he's history to me.

As an aside...
I was listening to a podcast replay of a radio program... at the beginning of their first hour, they play the National anthem. It is beyond me how ANYONE could not stand... much less kneel during that song.

Drew Knees should have stood his ground and mainatined some form of personal honor. He was driven to his knees and it was shameful, emasculating, and disgusting.

Not even kidding- he has PTSD. He is at the “ extremely self-conscious “ phase of public humiliation/reputation destruction. This is what happens when a highly-respected person loses the status he had in his own mind. He is trying to pretend life is normal by doing normal things, but he feels this overwhelming emotional discomfort with himself. Whereas he used to be completely comfortable in his skin, now he feels like it’s all been upended. He’s just not feeling like he can trust his instincts, and he’s shook. Very understandable.

Black Lives Matter org is hated by the majority of protestors for their mission including several things the protestors don't care about and diluting the message.
