Went to a midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on the first night. All screens started at the exact same time and thus let out at the same time. Every screen was sold out. It was like trying to leave an LSU football game. Took over an hour just to get out of our parking spot and probably another 30 minutes to get to the light. Never again.

All funneling to that one light is nuts.

You should check out the remodeled Celebrity (old Grand) theater on George O'Neal near Coursey. All new comfy stadium seats that recline(you can reserve your seats online), redid whole place including restrooms. Serves alcohol now, lots of new games for kids. And I believe they building some bowling lanes still under construction. Great location, don't have all the traffic.

I hope your drivers don’t encounter any snags whilst parking the Bentley. Some absolute rapscallions wandering around these days.

They need the room to burn tires in case the Blackhawkes return.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure rave had the first HD screens in BR.

You aren't wrong. DLP was the format at the time. Citiplace had 1 dlp theatre, they had all DLP.

I wonder the same thing but do remember when I was in college it would be filled up on weekends.

It used to fill up all the time. Nothing was more miserable than getting stuck in that parking lot when a big midnight premier would let out

It’s true. These “posters” are so ensconced with superfluous vitriol that it leaves my head on an inordinate swivel.

I concur. The bask in their success as merely sophomoric “posters”.

Because they actually made a parking lot to give all the occupants a parking spot. That's a rarity these days with the cheap frick owners.
