Very well said . Some guys can’t entertain competing thoughts at the same time . They always seem to come out in race threads . Therefore if you notice the cultural propensity to put interacial couples in commercials and note the emotional manipulation of that and wonder why, some angry guy rushes in to slur “Southern Conservatives “ and call somebody a racist. Plenty of Southern Conservatives of course are married to people of another race or adopted children of another race. But some people have to make everything so simplistic. It’s why we can’t have nice things.

Calling out the OP’s concern troll is virtue signaling now?

Guess “virtue signal” will be the next “melt” where y’all overuse it so much it loses its meaning

The OP is asking a legitimate question. Why Do so many commercials over represent the amount of interracial couples ? What’s the thought process behind that ? What’s the message ? Are interracial relationships being equated with virtue ? Does it infer there is something wrong with not wanting to be in an interracial relationship? Those are all fair questions. It’s valid social criticism. It’s people observing their culture and the messages being fed to them by advertisers. We should be able to discuss them without slurring each other.

So because I notice macro level trends across the entire commercial marketing spectrum, it’s considered trolling?

Some of us don’t blindly follow the masses. It’s ok to question the extent of your brainwashing sometimes.

Sure.

I never slurred the OP. Just called out the classic concern troll “I’m just asking a question” routine. Not sure how that is virtue signaling.

Commercials are marketing. They are going to PC as much as they see fit. They know the numbers. They know what works. If it didn’t work, they wouldn’t do it. Y’all can say it’s pushing an agenda or whatever, but the fact is if it didn’t work they wouldn’t do it.

Exactly, the very venom he thinks, erroneously, he is calling out...is the very narrow minded venom he is simultaneously spewing himself.

Not all trolling is bad. But yes, don’t pretend you didn’t know what you were doing which this thread. That is classic “concern troll”.

Anyone that is genuine will admit it's a form of brainwashing.

I have nothing against interracial marriages, but it's not common statistically speaking.

It's kind of like Panera bread and how everyone on their commercials is gay, or has blue hair.

Last time ole miss was on Tv playing football they had their commercial pumping the university how they always do for all SEC schools.

I shite you not, I counted one white male.
They had Asians, Muslims, black males, black females and two lesbian/butch looking white girls.

I'm not sure the purpose of me posting this, other than it was painfully obvious they were trying to paint ole miss in a color that wasn't what it really is.
Middle to upper middle class white kids from the south.

Because it advertises to 2 demographics rather than 1. Smart marketing.
