The lakes are in the city of Baton Rouge, thus, the lakes must be home to those poor black folks, yes? Unless there are actually rich white folks in the city of Baton Rouge and that whole argument is meaningless? Who knows, there are probably a few blacks in St. George too, hiding out til this all passes over.

I got mugged near Gardere in the mid 2000's when I lived over there while I went to LSU. The area declined quite a bit between 2000-2010. I never felt very unsafe until the last year and a half that I was at LSU.
